After a favourable weather window appeared for crossing the Atlantic, we got down to business and put a hold on exploring Bermuda.

The day arrived and we headed out into beautiful sailing conditions. Despite the fantastic weather, we were both feeling a little nervous as a result of our last disastrous Atlantic Ocean crossing attempt… to say that we were a bit on edge was an understatement!

But the days seem to slip by with only a few minor noises and groans to concern us with. By day 4, we were used to them and had slipped into a good routine.

We were both unable to believe the excellent weather conditions that we chose to leave in… in our mind, they seemed too good to be true and SOMETHING bad was bound to happen!
